About World of Curious
One publication, ten sections, a hundred topics and a lot of puzzles with real answers.
World of Curious is an entertainment publication about the things that make people stop scrolling: a puzzle with a genuine answer, an object nobody can identify, a fact that sounds invented, a story worth finishing.
How the site is organised
There are 10 sections and 100 topics. The sections are in the menu at the top; the full topic list lives on the topics page. Everything is one publication — the topics are sections of it, not separate sites.
Who writes it
Articles are published under the byline Editorial Team. We do not invent journalists or give fictional writers fictional biographies. When a piece is written by a named person, their name appears on it.
Our puzzles
Every puzzle on the site is generated from structured data before it is drawn, and the answer is checked automatically before the puzzle can be published. If a grid does not have exactly one odd symbol, if a maze has no route from start to finish, or if a matchstick equation has two valid answers, the build fails and the puzzle never appears. Puzzles are entertainment — they are not intelligence, memory or health tests, and we do not describe them that way.
Facts and fiction
Factual articles list their sources and use careful wording where the evidence is thin. Stories in the Human Drama section are original fiction written for this site and are labelled on every page. We do not rewrite other people's posts or present invented stories as real reader letters.

Pictures
Most artwork on the site is generated programmatically from the article's own data — that is why puzzle text and numbers are always spelled correctly. Where an illustration or digital reconstruction is used, it says so. We never present a generated image as a genuine historical photograph.
