Who you are dealing with

World of Curious is published by World of Curious, operating as a sole trader in Australia. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Using the site

World of Curious is provided for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You are welcome to read it, link to it and share links to it.

Our content

The articles, fiction, puzzle designs, generated artwork and site design are our copyright unless stated otherwise. Please do not republish whole articles, re-host our puzzle images or reproduce our stories elsewhere. Quoting a short extract with a link back is fine.

Third-party material

Where material is used under licence or is in the public domain, the source and licence are recorded with it and those terms apply in place of ours.

Accuracy

We take care with factual material and list our sources, but the site is entertainment, not professional advice. Nothing here is medical, legal, financial or valuation advice. Price and valuation articles are illustrative and are not an offer, a guarantee or a professional valuation.

Fiction

Stories in the Human Drama section are works of fiction. Names, characters and incidents are invented, and any resemblance to real people or events is coincidental. See the fiction policy.

Puzzles

Puzzles are entertainment. They are not intelligence tests, memory tests or assessments of any kind, and no result on this site says anything about your health.

Links out

We link to other sites as sources. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.

Advertising

The site carries third-party advertising. We do not control which adverts are shown, and an advert appearing here is not an endorsement. What the advertising provider does in your browser is set out in the privacy policy.

Availability

The site is provided as it is, without any warranty that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, move or remove any part of it.

Your rights under Australian law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to supplying the relevant content again.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of that state have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
